Smoked mackerel and avocado paté


Ingredients
225g/8oz “ready to eat” smoked mackerel fillets, skinned
50g/2oz low fat soft cheese
1 small ripe avocado pear, peeled, stone removed
1 lemon, juice only
Freshly ground black pepper

Method
1. Place all the ingredients into the food processor or liquidiser and blend until fairly smooth.
2. Spoon into 2 ramekin dishes.
3. Chill for 1 hour, then serve.
